Over the past twenty years or so, I have acquired a reservoir of accounting knowledge and experience working in various industries (Retail, Consulting, Hospitality & Others) for individuals, nonprofit and for-profit businesses. Tasks like new business set up, identifying processing issues, replacing them with something more fluid, to generating dependable informational financial reports is my happy place.
After relocating to the Sacramento, CA area, I decided to take a chance at self-employment, starting my own full charge bookkeeping and accounting services firm. As a parent and caregiver for elder family members (hometown Oakland, CA), it became challenging to work traditional business hours. The challenge of juggling family need and those of my employer was the birth of my need to become virtual. Allowing me the flexibility to continue doing the work I LOVE and to support my family.
While I am not a CPA or an EA, I am happy to work with your existing tax preparer and/ or auditor in preparation of various tax filings and audits. I am also happy to introduce you to someone new.
